My research interests include digital marketing, social media marketing, and consumer responses to AI- and technology-based services and products. I am particularly interested in how emerging technologies influence consumer perceptions, decision-making, and interactions in digital environments. More broadly, I seek to understand how technological innovations are reshaping marketing communication and consumer behavior in everyday life.

My research interests lie in human–computer interaction (HCI), particularly in chatbots, AI-mediated communication, and (mis)information. I am interested in how people perceive, trust, and interact with intelligent systems across different contexts. More specifically, I explore how interactive technologies shape communication processes, user responses, and how people assess information and misinformation.

Social science should go beyond research and be utilized to solve the issues of our society. We should not only detect such issues but also deliberate on their reasons and solutions. My research interests, including social media, fake news, and political communication, can all contribute to building a better society.

My areas of interest extend from this line of thinking, focusing broadly on the impact of changes in the media environment on users. In particular, I am interested in how these changes can be understood and applied from a marketing communication perspective.

Bachelor Student, Department of Media & Communication, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea
My research interests include AI communication, misinformation, and the societal impact of media technologies. I am interested in how new technologies shape the ways people encounter information, interpret media, and communicate with others. More broadly, I am drawn to questions about how technology transforms communication and everyday social life.

Taisia Haas
Bachelor Student, Department of Media & Communication, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea
I am largely interested in how cultural contexts shape public attitudes toward artificial intelligence and technological change. This interest mainly stems from observing the stark differences between Eastern and Western societies, especially among younger generations, in how new technologies are adopted and discussed. Additionally, I’ve become increasingly interested in the role of AI (especially generative) in political communication, including how AI-generated content may be used in persuasion, misinformation, or propaganda within digital information environments.

Wint Yi Kyaw
Bachelor Student, Department of Media & Communication, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea
Bachelor Student, Department of Korean Language and Literature, Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), South Korea
I am interested to study the interaction of social science with technology for the development of society. For my further study, I want to join the graduate program of business analysis or big data analysis where I will learn analysing the social phenomena(consumer trends, computational media) with technology tools using statistics and machine learning methods.

I am interested in exploring AI-driven media from user and societal perspectives, with a particular focus on its applications in healthcare. Specifically, I am curious about how deepfake and synthetic media influence media authenticity, user trust, and their implications for advertising and marketing. I also pay close attention to the potential impact of AI technologies on the healthcare sector. Ultimately, I aim to understand how emerging technologies shape perception, behavior, and trust in digital environments.
